The Italian Center 4 year old nursery school program concentrates on preparing the child for the transition to kindergarten. The areas of focus include academics, social and emotional skills as well as fine and gross motor skills.
The classroom experience is structured with certain daily activities such as free play, meeting time with roll call, circle time and story time. Additionally, the 4 year old program is further developed with a focus on age appropriate academics. Each day also unfolds with different experiences once a week such as music, computers, dance, art, swimming, show and tell, gym and letter bag.
Our nursery school center classroom is an open room, brightly decorated with artwork and different themes throughout the year. The classroom is also equipped with three computers for use during computer time. While the students are in school, they will participate in activities that take place in the Italian Center gymnasium, swimming pool and outdoor playground, weather permitting.
